About this Event

Join riders of all levels and ages while experiencing the best of Southern California beaches and surf towns as you ride routes of 100, 50, 25, 15 or 7 miles on Highway 101, taking in the breathtaking views of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Del Mar.

It's not a race. It's a ride. Everything starts and finishes on the beach at the spectacular venue of the Oceanside Pier with food, beer, music, expo shopping and fun. If you’re looking to take your family on an active family vacation or are looking for unique bike tour, considering joining us in Oceanside for this fun ride that’s appropriate for all skill levels from individuals to competitive groups to families, this ride is inclusive to all.

4:00 PM - Late (walkup) registration and packet pickup opens outside the Bandshell, near the Junior Seau Recreation Center next to the Pier*

7:00 PM - Registration and Expo close (The Pier 300 N The Strand Oceanside, CA 92054)

*parking available near Pacific and Mission Streets above the Strand

Saturday, November 2

5:30 AM – Registration opens at Betty's Lot, Downtown Oceanside



6:50 AM – 100-mile wave starts

7:45 AM – 50 mile rider wave starts. All 50 mile riders should be out by 8:30 AM

8:45 AM – 25 mile rider wave starts. All 25 mile riders should be out by 9:00 AM

9:00 AM – 15 & 7 mile rider wave starts. All 15 & 7 mile riders should be out by 9:15 AM


10:00 AM – expo opens

10:00 AM – Beer Garden opens at Taste The Coast Expo under The Pier

The Beer Garden and Expo are open to the public.

5:00 pm – final 100-mile Rider arrives, and Taste The Coast Expo closes
